Motorcycle accident on Huntington Avenue by the MFA

Some sort of accident at the intersection of Huntington and Parker around noon, Victoria Ryan tweets. Although the accident stopped trolley traffic, T spokesman Joe Pesaturo says no trolley was involved.

That explains the cryptic series of duplicate T alerts I got
that all stated "E Line 10 to 15 minute delays due to medical emergency on Huntington Avenue".
And to the T alert writers - "All together now, can you learn to say "m-o-t-o-r-c-y-c-l-e a-c-c-i-d-e-n-t"?
Don't say it
Being so specific might draw fans of grisly carnage to rubberneck -- seriously.
If that's the case, then why
do traffic reporters refer to accidents all the time in their reports? Because THAT'S WHAT HAS HAPPENED on the highway. Moreover, if there is a specific reason for a particular delay, then tell me exactly what that reason is. Besides being accurate and honest, it might also make me more patient in dealing with that delay.
The fact is that the T has an ever increasing credibilty problem with their alerts. Using fuzzy non-specific language only worsens this issue.
