Well, at least it's a bridge to somewhere

The Globe reports the Krafts gave as much as they could to Democrats as state officials began applying for $9 million in federal funds to build a pedestrian bridge between parking lots by Patriot Place.
The Outraged Liberal doubts the Krafts were trying to influence that decision, but says: There's no way Deval Patrick wins this one.

Not exactly a "green project", IMO.

A "bridge between parking lots" won't cut down much on carbon emissions, one would think. Also, I guess, kind of a gamble, as one never knows whether a sizable corporation will even be interested in the new office space. I guess the strongest criticism of it is that Kraft should pay for it himself. He stands to gain the most from the investment.
