whatever can be done to eliminate that road would make my day. If it has to flood all the time and become unusable to prove it can be turned back into park, I would be joyous.
but that doesn't mean we're going to build a pedestrian bridge across Brookline Avenue. Or a bridge across Causeway Street for the 41 Bruins and 41 Celtics home games (and Beanpot, circus, and concerts). Why do we need one across Route 1, instead of a crosswalk?
You didn't just equate Route 1 with Brookline Ave and Causeway Street. I refuse to believe it.
I mean we're talking about a US Highway vs two city streets. At *least* a 2-fold factor in people over Fenway and a factor of 3.5 over The Garden...most of whom drive to Foxboro but take the T to Fenway or The Garden.

Funny
We have 9 million to build a bridge for a billionaire's 10 home games plus playoffs, but we can't fix Storrow, even though it floods ALL THE TIME.
Fuck Massachusetts.
Whew, I'm really glad that we elected Deval last time around!
Otherwise, it might have been politics as usual on Beacon Hill
on issues like this!
And hey, how's that property tax relief he promised working out
for us so far?

How else do you propose I efficiently cross Boston? And if you say "Mass Pike", then go ahead and mail me a check to cover my tolls.
Ive heard that the green
Ive heard that the green line actually runs parallel to storrow
Pretty sure
I am almost positive he said "efficiently".
Foxboro bridge
There are a lot more events at Foxboro than Pats home games.
And there are 81 home games at Fenway Park

You're not that dumb, Ron

Don't be stupid.
There are, but most of them
There are, but most of them arent big enough to even require the parking lots across the street to be used. Revs games dont.
So add 2 concerts and 2 international games to the home schedule.
When taking the T is
When taking the T is faster/more safe than driving, we know we're in trouble.
and ps, no big deal but you spelled my name wrong again. Missing the first e this time.
