Thanks. Yeah, there's like three different shades of blue for links right now, from that sort of neony blue on the home page to a blue so dark it almost doesn't look like a link. Will work on that tomorrow, when my eyeballs can focus again.
Just a suggestion, but by putting the actual comment on the tracker page, you don't do yourself or us any favors. We won't be able to quickly skim to see which stories have updates and how many (helping to define "hot topics of discussion" in our minds). You won't be driving as many page hits, since I can just go to the Tracker and read most of the comment to see who had what to say rather than going into each individual story's page to see it inline....and with ads on every page.
So, I'd suggest still having the tracker be a bit more like the old one:
Are you looking at this page or something else? Because that's basically the same as the current tracker, except it gives a specific date and time for the last comment, instead of how many hours/minutes ago (and I can change that easily enough). Or am I missing something?
That link is the one I was complaining about without looking at the URL. You are right that the tracker URL is still the same old tracker...it's just not linked at the new site in the same way as the old site and this new comments/recent link is there instead.
Couple the complaints from folks who either thought it was a snail or who knew it was a bug and were grossed out with the outright rebellion in the household here from the local token fan, and how could I not? I might try to take a photo of a cleaner token, though :-).

My eyes! The goggles do nothing!
My eyes! The goggles do nothing!
Suggest you tone down that red!
Youse-ability
I concur. Red at night, sailor's delight, red on white, reader's fright.
Blue?
I'll try some blue trim instead.
Better, but I like the shade
Better, but I like the shade of blue on the comments pages better (and it would be more consistent, too).
Just my (entirely reasonable) opinion ...
I'm so blue

New tracker page

Story Title (total comments/new comments link)
or something similar.
Hmm ....
Are you looking at this page or something else? Because that's basically the same as the current tracker, except it gives a specific date and time for the last comment, instead of how many hours/minutes ago (and I can change that easily enough). Or am I missing something?
I see
The "more" link at the end of the "Recent Comments" column on the old site went to:
http://www.universalhub.com/tracker
The /newsite has a "Recent Comments" link for "more" that goes to:
http://www.universalhub.com/newsite/comments/recent
That link is the one I was complaining about without looking at the URL. You are right that the tracker URL is still the same old tracker...it's just not linked at the new site in the same way as the old site and this new comments/recent link is there instead.
Aha!
Thanks, will fix that.
Yeah Token!!
Glad to see the token still there...not that the grasshopper would be loved too.
I had no choice
