Turning now to the national report, Blog Media, Inc. has sounded a full retreat in its war with the parents of our own Bostonist - by deleting the post in which they called Gothamist Publisher Jake Dobkin a slaveowner. It's a pity Google caches everything, eh? I won't publish the whole screed (well, unless anybody asks nicely), but I can't imagine why somebody would want to retract something so mellifluous as:
