Whistle Blown on Entwistle

By dykstraNet - 2/9/06 - 9:57 am

It seems you need to go further than the U.K. if you want to escape the long arm of the New England law. Neil Entwistle has been charged... and arrested in London around 7AM this morning. According to CNN, there is going to be a press conference by the Middlesex district attorney at 10AM eastern.

For those who have lived under a rock for the last week or so, Mr. Entwistle's wife and baby daughter were found shot to death in their rented home in Hopkinton. Entwistle bought a plane ticket to the U.K. 48 hours before the bodies were found, and his car was discovered at Logan.

My guess is because he was just arrested today so the papers were nervous about jumping the gun and implicitly accusing him of domestic violence when he had yet to be arrested or even considered a suspect by the police.
