A new t-shirt for the mayor to go after?

Then again, nothing proclaims your love for Allston quite like a t-shirt exclaiming "Defend Allston" next to a machine gun.
Earlier:
Allston murders.
Stop Snitchin' shirts and the First Amendment.

Hmmmm
The optimistic part of me wants to say that authorities aren't going after these shirts because no one is actually taking up arms to defend Allston (not that there aren't murders there--the first murders of 2006 in Boston were in either Allston or Brighton). And peeople really ARE intimidating witnesses.
But then I consider the fact that many young people who wear "Stop Snitchin'" shirts are NOT trying to intimidate witnesses, but to say that people shouldn't tell false stories to police to save their own skins. And that many are just following a trend. And it's hard to ignore the fact that "Defend Roxbury" shirts would get a LOT more attention...
JP and Somerville too
I've got a Defend JP shirt in my drawer, one of my favorite people sports a similar Devend Somerville shirt on occasion.
