Snow? What snow? No, really, what snow?

As the sun went down yesterday over the Roslindale hills, it sure felt like snow - the sky was close and gray and the air had that "gonna snow" feel. And when I went out around 6:30, "Traffic on the 3s" was reporting "near white-out conditions" on South Shore highways. But this morning, I looked out the window and saw: Lots of brownish green; the only white was the ice left over from the last mini-storm. Wha' happened?

I'm not a big Todd Gross fan (dude: lay off the carrots!), but he does have a Cape and Islands weather page: "As you know we live in a weather-world apart from Boston, or anywhere else."

I'd have to suggest Matt Noyes. Of course, I can't stand ANY of the local news stations and prefer NECN, so perhaps I'm biased. He also has a blog http://mattnoyes.blogs.com/ with updated weather info, especially snow prediction maps. His site is very useful for skier/snowboarder types.
