Hey, gang, next time Marshall's or TJ Maxx opens a new store around here, let's do a journo-swarm and interview shoppers on where they got their ascots and the inspiration to match winter boots with black party dresses.

I suppose that not having a profession (like one of the shoppers quoted) might provide me the time and energy to get excited about this sort of event. But I hope not.
Meh.
I dropped into Barneys on Saturday, when I was out shopping with a friend. I was not overly impressed. It's just another store filled with overpriced, overhyped 'fashion.' And shopping there isn't any less boring. I seriously do not understand the hype. Emperor's New Clothes syndrome, maybe?
