Water, water everywhere

The drinking fountain at the Jamaica Pond gazebo this afternoon. There's just something incongruous about a water fountain spouting automatically in the middle of the pouring rain.

watering the lawn
On my commute to work today (which was eventually stopped cold by a closed road in NH) I drove past a Church that had neglected to override the automatic lawn watering. In the driving rain (which, by the way, channel 4's radio weather report on WXLO said wouldn't be happening today) this looked REALLY REALLY REALLY stupid.
