Our report this morning comes from Newton, where Jo hears a bird chirping outside her bedroom:
... You may now resume preparing to purchase all the bread and milk in a 100 mile vicinity, renting a stack of movies and dreading another weekend snowed in the house.

Yes--despite this nasty winter, there's hope.
As a life-long New Englander, I, too amd waiting and hoping, eagerly ready for spring. Another thing that I've noticed is that there are small buds already starting to develop on many, if not most of the trees. Another hopeful sign.
I also despise the way that the media creats a situation of panic, where people flock to the stores in droves to buy foods, causing long lines, and lots of tension and stress. It's not the average, run-of-the-mill person to blame for this--it's the media, folks.
