On Boston Crazy Driving, Tim notes the latest appearance of SYMS graffiti in an improbable place, this time on the giant sign hanging over I-93 alerting drivers to exits 11A and B in Dorchester:

An unusual way to advertise
An unusual way to advertise this store? They used to have one downtown, but no longer.
I doubt it
Having only recently gotten a suit and shoes at the Norwood Sym's, I'm really doubting that a staid old-line men's clothing store (the guy who marked up my suit pants for hemming was your classic older-Jewish-tailor kind of guy; probably named Jerry, or maybe it's just because he reminded me of Jerry Ohrbach), would pull a stupid stunt like that.
Sym's
Speaking of Sym's, how come there's always a cop at the front of the store?
Yeah, why does it suit them to have a cop there?
Although I didn't notice a cop there the last two times (also the only two times) I was there, I'm betting he's there as a theft deterrent (although I noticed recently that my bank is saving money by having only a security guard on duty on Saturdays, instead of the detail cop they used to).
MS13
I think it has something to do with the MS13 gang. Does anyone know spanish well enough to figure out what 2 words could be placed before MS that would make any sense?
it must somehow be Microsoft's fault
Pienso que no
No hay muchas palabars en espanol que empiezan con "y."
