David Scott makes the case that Jerry Remy is veering toward annoying and has been going downhill ever since Sean McDonough's departure:

I'd have to agree
I complained about him last week. He seems much angrier and more self-important than ever before. I like(d) him when he was goofy and one of us. But now he's Mr. Marketing and something is just *different* about him.
Of course, you can get lynched around here for even thinking these things.

I was thinking the same thing the other day
Now, I'm hardly a Sox fan, but I did enjoy Jerry Remy's commentary during the games. But now he's got his own awards show? I'm sorry, but that is just nuts.
