At the Maugus Restaurant in Wellesley Hills, you can order a tonic - and you'll like it (also note the distinction between frappes and milk shakes).

The difference between frappes and milk shakes in Massachusetts is frappes use ice cream, syrup and milk and milk shakes use only milk and syrup, no ice cream.

I remember we used to make raw egg frappes as kids.(no syrup) They are quite good.
