Car thieves with no taste?
By adamg on Mon, 03/21/2005 - 8:59am
You know the stats - the most commonly stolen car in Massachusetts is the Toyota Camry - so honey, remember to set the alarm today! But Bob says that since the Camry is so common, the more valid statistic would be the theft rate per make. And the Dodge Stratus tops that list. Why?

no taste?
Why is the Dodge Stratus evidence of their lack of taste? It's not significantly different from the Camry, style-wise.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess
Plus, when we were looking to buy Nancy a car, we actually test drove both. The Camry had plenty of headroom, while I found my head uncomfortably close to the ceiling of the Stratus (at all of 5'11"). Probably more important, one's a reliable long-lasting car and the other's a Dodge (says the one-time owner of a Dodge Omni, which obviously scarred me for life).
Wait...
...Omni? Didn't you only have one? ;o)
Right.
It's was a Dodge Omnus. And when it came time to replace it, I got a Chevy Novus. And now I have a Ford Focus. I don't know what I was thinking with the Prizm.
