Anti-Israel party to make ballot after all?

Political Intelligence reports that it looks like the Green Rainbow Party, which has made Israel a campaign issue, and whose co-chairperson calls Israel an illegitimately formed entity, will collect enough signatures to get its statewide candidates on the November ballot.

Disgraceful

I wonder how many of those signatures belong to people who think Green Rainbow means the party stands for a clean environment and gay rights? I like to think that most of the signers don't know of the vicious anti-Semitism in the party.

But maybe they do. Either way, I'm disgusted.

Not all do.

I certainly used to like them for their support for universal healthcare and equal marriage, and I actually spoke with their '04 presidential candidate, David Cobb, and asked him about the M.E. issue, got none of the rhetoric from him or LaMarche. But the recent stuff they're doing has certainly made me take a step back.

Of course, when it comes to serious non-city council politics, green-rainbow is a joke anyhow.
