Skyline Ranking "ranks cities by the visual impact of their skylines."

It is, however, kind of an arbitrary ranking: It basically assigns points to the heights of buildings (so yes, kids, when it comes to skyscrapers, bigger is better; then again, I mean, come on, look at the shape of most of these things).

Perhaps a better ranking would be to figure out the variations in the heights of buildings; even if that would rank Boston lower, at least when seen from the waterfront, because most of the buildings downtown are pretty much the same height, thanks to BRA regulations. But I'm a chronic complainer.
