Jimmy Fallon sucks

Well, granted, that might be a given already for some of you, but some guy is SO pissed at having watched Fallon dance on the field after game 4 of the World Series that he's calling for a boycott of Fallon's new movie:

... About 20 seconds after euphoria, we all had to watch this clown prance around the field and act all silly. He took something away from our moment. Now we should take something away from him. Boycott Fever Pitch. The movie will be out soon and there is no need from anyone in Boston to see it. Curse Jimmy Fallon, Drew Barrymore and all associated with this demonic film. ...

Another Reason to Boycott

It's yet another perfectly good Nick Hornby book that is bastardized by being reinterpreted for America. Half of "About a Boy" was left out of the screenplay (the whole Kurt Cobain story line...) And while "High Fidelity" was an okay film, the book was stellar and phenomenal. "Fever Pitch" was a perfectly fine movie (and book) about Football (Soccer) and I say we all go and support THAT version instead by renting or buying it in protest against Mr. Fallon's version.

It'd be nice if someone actually wrote a decent screenplay about Boston Fans and the 2005 Sox without ripping off a pre-exisiting story, squishing it to fit, and putting Jimmy Fallon in it.

gah.
