Boston Police statement on the BPDNews outage

Update: BPDNews is back up.
This just in:
As many of you are aware by now, the Boston Police Department's BPDNews.com blog is experiencing technical difficulties. To the best of our knowledge, the server that hosted our domain was hacked sometime last nite, and our domain was one of many on that server that suffered a service interruption. As soon as we became aware of the problem, we brought down BPDNews.com.
We are in contact with our host, and are hopeful that the problem will be resolved shortly. Barring any more problems, we expect to be back online by early this evening.
We will keep you posted on the status of the blog. Thank you to Universal Hub and others who have helped spread the word, and thanks to Adam for allowing us to use this space to keep our fellow bloggers informed.

At this moment, BPDNews.com has a single blog entry titled "TEST POST", whose entire contents are "Test post".

Try the toolbar on the right. Although looks like the most recent post is from 9/14.
Good for them for testing everything first, although it probably shouldn't have taken this long.
Seems pretty much OK now.
