Laura and a colleague about to return to Germany celebrate at the Tahiti in Dedham, which is:
an old-time tiki lounge, where all the drinks are sweet, all the chairs have wheels, and all the food is fried and/or flaming ("Fiah, fiah fiah. Woooh," said the chef as he ladled burning rum over a plate heaped with savory donuts). We ordered exotic beverages with names like "Doctor Funk of Tahiti," and "Bahia" and "Love Potion." ...

uhh...
Apparently you're allowed to do nasty things under the tables after consuming one:
Suffering Bastard
Not too tall—not short—but this large quantity of delectable potion might put you “Down Under†. . . . . $5.15
The lights are pretty dim there
So you could probably get away with it :-).
But...
From the description, it sounds like I'd be under the watchful eye of at least a few of those carved tiki deity thingies. That'd just be not right.
Nah
I don't remember any giant carved Tiki heads there. The lounge does have your basic Polynesian village-about-to-be-destroyed-by-volcano mural, but the main dining area is your classic maroon-vinyl-clad booths.
