Roslindale is hardcore

Roslindale didn't let the rain rain on its parade - the annual Roslindale Day parade went on as scheduled down Belgrade Avenue (albeit without some bands and groups and firetrucks):

Yeah, so the parade kinda went to the dogs:

The vicious mankiller was mounted atop an old Saturn wagon showing some serious Rozzie pride:

OK, so some spectators wussed out as well. Just meant more candy for the kids who did show up - instead of throwing candy all over the place, creating mad dashes among frenzied kids, paraders handed fistfuls of candy to each kid. Kids also got free pumpkins.
