It's in a town, but this diner is hardly deluxe

Kristin drives over to Watertown for dinner at the Deluxe Town Diner but leaves after 30 minutes of being unable to order anything of the vegetarian ilk:

can you get tofu loaf at a DINER?

Generally you can't
See that's just the thing. In general, you can't get tofu anywhere when eating out. That is why I wanted to support them and that is also why I was so disappointed. It is good to see businesses at least trying to provide a menu that has options for vegetarians.
Regardless...
restaurants should try to have in stock what is on their menus.
Tofu Loaf
I had the tofu loaf there on Saturday. So, yes, they do have it, at least sometimes. And the service at that time was just fine.
Tofu at DTD
They generally do carry the tofu loaf. My vegan friend has gotten it before.

I did get an email response from Deluxe Town Diner. Hopefully we can get this all sorted out and I can go again and try that tofu loaf. I am glad to hear that they have it. Here is Don's response:
"sorry to hear about your visit to the diner, please tell which night and describe your waitress to me and I need to get to the bottom of this and I will answer you in the next day or so."
