Eh, sorry if my post gave the wrong impression: depsite the price, I'm a big fan of Amtrak. It saves me four (or more) hours of driving, lining up for hours at Greyhound, crazy Fung-Wah drivers, and the liquids ban.

Now, perhaps if the Republican dominated congress would fund Amtrak in the same way that it does, say, highways, we would have better trains. Until that happens....
