As someone in the center
As someone in the center politically (I voted for Romney in '02, was overwhelmingly disappointed in his tenure, and voted for Patrick last month), I have to side with the R's on this one. I read the Globe's "exclusive" report this morning and thought "is that all there is?" Is Ann Romney supposed to ask for a green card before offering a glass of water to a landscaper? I recently had my roof re-done by a licensed contractor - Did I have a responsibility (according to the Globe) to ask for documentation on each and every worker who arrived on the jobsite?
