Maybe now Matsuzaka can solve the North Korean nuclear issue

Christopher Hill, assistant secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs; head of the U.S. delegation to the Six-Party Talks, brought Matsuzaka up yesterday during a press conference on North Korea's nuclear program:
... ASSISTANT SECRETARY HILL: I'm really sorry about doing this, but it's very important. He's going to Boston? ...

"He's holding out for a six-party agreement"
Excellent joke at just the right time, and a nice try to get the conversation back on track.
I'd make a joke about expecting GWB to stop in the middle of a presidential address on the state of the Iraq whatever-it-is-at-the-moment and saying "Say, how 'bout that Jeff Gordon?" but my real fear is that he probably would do that if it meant an effective diversion.
