Not something you'd expect to see.

I'd expect to see it. There

I'd expect to see it. There are hundreds of illegal immigrants who wait every morning by the Dunkin' Donuts at Broadway & McGrath. It's actually quite a sight.

the Border Patrol is not welcome in Somerville

We really do not need them here harassing our immigrant population. The Mayor recently made a statement opposing using city and state police to enforce immigration laws.

I wasn't saying anything

I wasn't saying anything about the possible merits or lack thereof of the border patrol being in Somerville.

I was merely stating that I don't find it surprising that a Border Patrol cruiser was in Somerville, given the large and widely known immigrant population therein.

My comments on the topic of who enforces immigration laws if the INS does not have been left out due to their marginal relevancy.
