Here's hoping his campaign is better than his Web site

Third Decade gets spammed for money for some guy named Eric Georgi, who is running for an at-large city council seat in the 2007 elections. He'd never heard of Georgi, so he takes the spam's advice and heads to Georgi's campaign site, which he finds is basically an empty shell:

... The site is terrible. There are hardly any photos, nothing about the issues, and a motley assortment of endorsements. Are we supposed to know who these people are because I don't recognize any of them. For all I know, this is some frat guy's joke or a modified Friendster page. If this guy is legit, my apologies for the harsh post. Still, c'mon kid, you need to start off better than this.

Ed. snark: One of the positions Mr. Georgi does take is stronger representation for out-of-town college students at City Hall. Um, why?

Meanwhile, Young Eric is not the only at-large candidate with visions of sugarplum donors dancing in his head this holiday season. Harry Mattison reports getting similar fundraising e-mail from first-termer Sam Yoon, who wants to raise at least $60,000 by Dec. 31.

Why the expectation that a campaign website has to start off complete?

Starting is just that starting.

Asking for menoey is just that asking for money?

You are being unduly harsh for no reason.

To make up for the harshness I suggest you might actually try to speak with Eric rather than write what you will from a position of ignorance.
