By jerrytroll | Wed, 12/27/2006 - 5:06pm

However, beginning at 7pm and escalating through the evening, the trains will be at rush hour levels, and will run until 2am.

In addition, the trains will be *free* after 8pm.

Not quite as silly as it looks

Sometimes a Sunday holiday with heavy travel has a somewhat different schedule from a regular Sunday. I recall one Sunday, July 4, when the T ran commuter trains on a Saturday schedule.

Monday is also a Sunday Schedule

The Monday holiday will also run on the Sunday Schedule.

not good enough

Trouble is, a lot of trains and busses have poor schedules, or don't run at all on Sunday. So now someone who wants to come in for First Night, can't do so until 7pm? How is this convenient? How is this supposed to keep someone from driving in when events start at 1 in the afternoon?

sigh
