Barry (the cheater) Bonds has already proclaimed that Boston is a racist city and he would never play here because of the way his Godfather, Willie Mays was treated during a private workout before Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier. The story says that someone (asummed to be tom yawkey) was heard yelling from the stands during the private workout to "get those n-----s off the field". this happened in the 40s and apparently Bonds still hates Boston as a city because of this episode.He is a dirty player who cheated and it would make me sick to watch the homerun that passes Ruth landing in the fenway park visitors bullpen. I hope no team signs him and he never swings another bat in a Major League game.There may have been others who cheated (nomar???) but none of them are approaching the Holy Grail of baseball records.Go away Barry, Id rather keep manny in left and bring back Trot for another year or two. At least he appreciates Boston and plays the game the right way.
