If the Houston equivalent of the MBTA is paying a blogger $76,622 a year, imagine how much the T would pay. Unless, of course, the Globe outsources Mac Daniel to the T.

it seems like the T already has co-opted Mac Daniel. At least he never seems to say anything untoward about the MBTA.
Perhaps they are enamoured of his snazzy fashion sense. Take a look back at the "Mac uses Charlie" video to see his oh-so-trendy sweater vest.
There's hope yet
In his column today, Daniel begins to wrestle with the idea that people with CharlieCard complaints might actually be right. Compare to his earlier column calling them stupid whiners.
