Mats Tolander fact checks our boy Bri today: Seems that in his zeal to fawn over Boston's $1.5-million shot-sound-spotter thing, McGrory may have left out a few inconvenient truths, which Tolander provides.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a NYC cop in a bar eight or nine years ago. He said they always made sure to drive slow to "shots reported" calls to make sure whoever had done the shooting wouldn't be there to shoot at them when they arrived.

It's anecdotal and just one cop's opinion, but I can;t say I blamed the guy.
