How do you get to Harvard Stadium?
Could somebody get the Globe sports department a map of Boston? An item today suggests nobody there knows the location of local institutions:
Harvard Stadium's new look helped hook a new tenant.
The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse announced yesterday the team was moving its home from Boston University's Nickerson Field across the Charles River to Harvard Stadium for the 2007 season.
Thanks to Jeremy Selwyn, chief snacks officer at Taquitos.net.

already fixed
When I follow the link, i don't see the words "across the Charles River" anymore.
Isn't screen capture just a wonderful thing?
the error lives on in print

Visual Proof
I've provided visual proof if anyone is skeptical.
Whew!
All I can say is THANK GOD the Cannons aren't abandoning Boston for Cambridge. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have me some box lacrosse!
FYI
Box lacrosse is played indoors. The Cannons are part of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) which plays outdoors. The National Lacrosse League (NLL) plays indoors and was formerly called the Major Indoor Lacrosse League (MILL).
but do they recruit any players from Duke University?
I Deserved That...
... for being snarky. I actually personally know someone who played in the box lacrosse league, for the Chicago team, many moons ago. I knew better, but my fingers dragged themselves across the keyboard before my mind could kick in. In my attempt to be spontaneously humorous I was, instead, spontaneously dumb. Oh, well. Not the first time.
What's your point, Ron Newman?
?
Hmm...
Maybe the Cannons plan to take the River Street Bridge to Memorial Drive to the Anderson Bridge. That way they go across the Charles River twice.
