New Cafe Waking Up Lewis Street

Daily Candy shucks the starbucks and grabs a cup from Flamepoeira on Lewis Street in the North End, apparently just missing Bostonist.
Flamepoeira introduces a new type of cafe to Boston, a friendly, social, caffeinated art spot that is part Littlest Bar, part Pan 9-- yet oddly North End.

I absolutely love Flamepoeira... the music, the people, the ambiance, the food, the drinks. Not Italian but so welcome to the North End. Not too busy, exactly how I like it! Good books and Wi-fi, Gay friendly, right on!
