Ted Kennedy, blogger

Well, sort of. tedkennedy.com has a "journal," but it's written in the third person (and looks like it's being updated only once a week):

... This journal is going to be one of the best features of the site—where we discuss the most relevant and important issues of the day. You'll be able to come behind the scenes of the campaign, and join in the fight against the Republican Party and their abuse of power in Congress and the White House. ...

David over at Blue Mass. Group is excited, in part because Kennedy got on a 30-minute conference call with him and other Democratic bloggers the other day, but also because it shows Kennedy is serious about organizing against the other side. He promises a full write-up of the chat.

Adam,

Thanks for the mention on your site. I'm Crystal, the internet manager and "phantom" journal writer at http://tedkennedy.com. We're excited about the launch of Senator Kennedy's website - it just went up on Tuesday, and there is a lot of information on the Senator and Massachusetts. We do have a journal that will be updated often, and we are psyched to get out there and get involved in the discussion on other blogs. Senator Kennedy has always committed to the issues affecting working Americans and people who often don't have a voice in Washington. The Senator's efforts online are a natural extension of that commitment. Hope everyone comes by to check out the site - come see it often, we update all the time. While you're there, join in on our petition to oppose William Myers, a rejected Senate nominee that President Bush has brought before the Senate again for the federal bench. Thanks again for the mention!
