The Mass. Ave. bridge will be shut 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday so Kevin Spacey can film scenes for that MIT gambling movie he's making:
...Pedestrians and bikes will be allowed between takes. Boaters on the Charles will be kept 500 feet away.

hacked notices
Some wily MITers hacked the DCR-placed LED board at the corner of Main Street and Vassar/Galileo (in front of the Stata Center). Instead of merely saying the Mass Ave bridge was closed on Sunday and giving the times, it also cycled through to say "this sign has been hacked".
I took a photo. If I could figure out where to stick it, I'd upload it and link it in.

Here. I did not realize the reason that the bridge is going to be closed though. In that light, they probably could have done a more clever message.
I also shot a little video to show the message cycling, which should be on YouTube in a couple of minutes.
