Boston Police report arresting a Saugus man spotted walking down Bennington Street with a two-foot machete protruding from his pants.

That's the weapon of choice for them.

I know that there's a ban on machetes (in effect, if not yet voted upon), either in Somerville or in Boston, precisely because of gang usage.

Hmm, says here that the ban was statewide.

Anyway, so much for that.
