Boston police take a slice out of crime
File this under "Fool me once ..."
Boston Police report that a pair of alleged chrome domes from Mattapan and Dorchester apparently figured that if they could call up a South Boston Domino's and rob the delivery guy when he showed up at their apartment, they could do it again. So they called up the same Domino's from the same address on the same phone.
The pizza place called police, who accompanied the delivery guy. When he rang the apartment bell, one of the pair came down and attempted to hold him up at gunpoint. Police then surrounded the guy and offered him delivery in 30 minutes or less to the nearest police station - a promise they also made to his alleged accomplice.
Continuing on the theme of Teh Stupid, click on the link to read about a Millis guy who learned that if you (allegedly) smash a car's windshield at MGH and take stuff out of the car, it's not the brightest of ideas to keep wandering around the hospital grounds.
Over in Eastie, meanwhile, a teenager learned that if you're going to steal tires off parked cars, you might want to wipe your hands if you stick around.

That's cool but ...
That's a great story about the pizza guy, but geez ... could the police have at least used a decoy, instead of putting the pizza guy at risk of getting shot during the robbery???
