Party venues

As you've been compiling info on what's around town, have you come across any links or info on decent party venues? I'm thinking along the lines of bars with an open floor plan (like Club Cafe), as opposed to restaurants or function halls.

Alas, Universal Hub is more of the "slump on the couch to watch Super Nanny and wonder why those parents haven't been reported to DSS already" variety than a party animal, so Universal Hub has no clue (Universal Hub also doesn't know why Universal Hub is referring to Universal Hub in the third person all of a sudden).

So! Do you know of any places that would fit the bill? Post here (I've removed the registration requirement; let's see if the new spam filter really works). And feel free to comment on those places! Would you recommend them? Thanks!
