A man in his 20s was shot repeatedly at Westminster and Central in Hyde Park around 10 p.m. today, police report. Taken to Brigham and Women's with life-threatening injuries.

Update: James G. Milford, 24, of Hyde Park, was pronounced dead.

That makes at least three serious shootings (one fatal) and three serious stabbings (one fatal) in Boston today.

Also, WBZ-TV reports that a woman jogging along the Esplanade around 11 p.m., Saturday, was sexually assaulted. State Police are looking for an overweight black male in his early to mid-20s, 5' 8" and about 170-180 pounds with a shaved head.
