What would be really funny is if some local media folks picked..
...up on your headline and started to investigate.
A few years back they had a view from at or near the Sheraton Tara in Braintree labeled as the 128/Dedham Holiday Inn and I contacted Smartraveler about it. Their fix back then was simply to remove it from the webcam list altogether rather than correctly label the camera.
I stumbled on this when reading about the 128 sewer grate accident today on boston.com.
They fixed it!!!
You must have used your Globe clout to get it updated.
More like anti-Globe clout
In any case, good work, folks, now if only you could afford a camera with a zoom lens so we could actually see something useful instead of something that looks like Kansas from 35,000 feet.
Uh-oh
While it was showing Dedham for a while, now it's a completely different view, I think of University Ave. in Westwood, but I'm not 100% sure. (Down the industrial park near 128 Station, not actuall 128 itself).
I think they're messing with us.
update a minute later: Now it's back to the Holiday Inn shot. They are messing with us. ;^)
Damn,
now they've even got your requested zoom shot!
You're good!
