Another sexual attack involving the Esplanade

WBZ-TV reports a man pulled a knife on a woman walking near Beacon and Hereford streets around 4 a.m. today and forced her to walk to the Esplanade where he sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a bald, black man with a large, muscular build. He was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans at the time.

Globe and Herald both flunk Back Bay geography
Both the Globe and Herald this morning report that the assailant forced the victim to walk across the "Hereford Street Footbridge".
There is no such bridge. I don't understand how two competing reporters could both make this mistake. Metro and BostonNOW both report that the victim was forced to cross the Fairfield Street footbridge, which makes a lot more sense.
And this is not nitpicking. It's important to know where and how a crime like this happened, especially since the suspect is still at large and may repeat it.
