Vox employee finds novel way to get off early; Two injured in Dorchester when car raked by bullets
Boston Police report that when a manager at Vox, 755 Boylston St., denied Hosea Richardson's request to leave work early last night, Richardson started arguing. And when that didn't work, police say, he threw a barstool, then reached into a duffel bag, pulled out a gun and pointed it at the manager before running out the door.
Richardson, 32, of Newton, now faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault by means of a firearm.
Meanwhile, shortly after midnight, three men, two of them with gunshot wounds, showed up at the B-3 police station. They told police they were in a car on Lithgow Street when somebody began firing at them (and a fourth person in the car) from behind. The two wounded men were taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital; both are expected to live.
