WFXT reports that Anthony Martignetti, who became locally famous for that Prince Spaghetti commercial, has died. He was 63.

As FBI agents with shirts identifying them as members of a task force that usually deals with weapons of mass destruction kept entering and leaving 143 Fulton St. in the North End on July 29, officials declined to say what they were looking for, but emphasized the public was not at risk. Boston Police report a woman walking on Prince Street near North Square around 2 a.m. on Sunday was approached by a man who tried to grab her - but she screamed and he ran away.

He's described as Hispanic, 25-35 years old, and about 5'6" with short hair.

Boston Police report arresting a New York man on charges he tried to steal a bicycle from a Commercial Street shop yesterday, threw paving stones through its window when he was foiled and then tried to kick and spit at police officers who caught up with him. Read more.

The Globe reports FBI agents who spent the day searching an apartment at 143 Fulton St. were looking for evidence related to the activities of Trevor Lucas, released last summer from a federal sentence for driving to Wisconsin to try to kidnap at gunpoint a teenager with whom he'd had a disagreement in the "World of Warcraft" game in 2009. A woman who suffered permanent injuries in 2017 when a chimney on Charter Street in the North End collapsed on the hammock she was in is suing the hammock company, charging it not only failed to warn people that attaching hammocks to brick structures might be dangerous, it actually encouraged the practice through a photo-caption contest. The Boston Licensing Board has scheduled an emergency hearing for tomorrow on "the numerous complaints" both the board and ISD have gotten about lack of compliance with state requirements for social distancing, facial coverings and sanitizing and with city regulations allowing restaurants to put seats on parking spaces out front during the current state of emergency. Aaron Michlewitz says people need to look beyond Christopher Columbus's reputation as a cruel murderer of both natives and the Spaniards he led and consider the history of the North End and how the statue represents both some of the neighborhood's original Italian immigrants and the fight to keep the North End from becoming an overbuilt district of expensive condos.
