A big YES, but only for good fruitcake - like the ten loaves I baked the weekend after Thanksgiving, loaded with dried fruits and spices, and brushed down with Gosling's rum. I'm definitely looking forward to one of those a couple of days from now!

I'll post the recipe over on CH. I clipped it out of the Globe back around 1980, and had lost it but succeeded in finding it again via a boston.com search. Well worth the $3 fee to get my recipe back!
