Anywhere downtown to get a tree?

I used to get them at Quincy Market when the nursery store was there. Now it's gone and I haven't been over in a while.

Downtown Trees

South End usually has them at Tremont and Berkeley, or there's a big lot of them just south of Andrew Square on Dot Ave that I saw while cycling into work on Wednesday -- get one by train!

Brookline has them at the True Value near St. Mary's, too.

Took my tree home on the T last year

Got lots of weird stares too! Perhaps I'll do it again for this festive season.

Home Depot

I've been getting our Christmas tree's at the Home Depot in Watertown for the past few years. The price is right and it is convenient to Brighton.

Harvard Ave, Allston

On Harvard Ave., opposite Kinvara Pub (near Cambridge Street intersection), there's a lot that has good selection and friendly people who will help you tie your tree to your car roof.
