Have bought there the last 2 times - beautiful trees, OK prices and they deliver (for an extra fee) - for a tip the guys will carry it upstairs for me.
The lot someone mentions on Harvard in Allston (I think owned by the hardware store across the street) is good too - but be very careful where you park. They have/had parking across the street by the store - I mistakenly parked next door and almost got towed a couple years ago.
Mahoney's in Brighton, on Western Ave.
Good selection. Plan to drop $60 for about a 6ft. tree, though they have smaller ones for less and even tabletop trees that are already in tree stands.
My parents and I have been buying trees from the lot on Harvard Ave in Allston since some time in the 1970s - during the years I lived in Cambridge and then Brookline I bought very small trees that I either walked home or took on the bus. Back then there was another lot nearby, on Cambridge Street between the auto parts store and what is now Sheesha Lounge - I shopped at both of them from year to year.
Another lot in Allston is on North Beacon Street near the IHOP, but I've never stopped there.
Buckle Farms has a stand at the corner of Green St. and Amory at Bartlett Square Cafe. Hours are Saturdays 10-7, Sundays 10-7, Wednesdays,Thursdays and Fridays 3-7
But if you're out that way, the Belmont Lions club has been selling trees as a charity fundraiser for eye research since forever; always nice trees and a cheerful buying experience. Right at the train station in Belmont Center. The Arlington Boys and Girls Club also sells trees.

McCue's Nursery in Woburn
Their trees pass the "pinch test" (pinch and pull and no needles come with!). I've never gotten a bad one there. Staff is helpful and friendly, too!
They are on Rt. 3, just before the nines when you are coming from Winchester. (close to Woburn 4 Corners).
