Are you joking?

Five times in a row, I called in an order for pick-up, show up in ten minutes, and they wouldn't have started to make it. The day it took forty minutes (10 after I called and 30 while I sat there) to make a cold sub, when there was no one in the restaurant on a snowing Boston day was the day I decided these idiots were degenerates who didn't deserve my money.

Especially since the food isn't even that good.

Never been to the Mass Ave location, but the pizza they make on Huntington Ave is pretty damn good -- love their buffalo chicken pizza. They have at least one really good pasta dish, too.

and I now see that their BU campus location delivers. If you're in their delivery radius, they are worth trying, though I tend not to order delivery of fancy, thin-crust pizza like theirs, as it suffers worse from steaming in the box in transit than hardier options like more downmarket Italian-American and Greek pan pizzas.

Anything but Crazy Doughs. Woody's doesn't deliver, but it's awesome.
Supreme is doors away from Symphony and is very good. But Crazy Doughs is pure crap.

Why do you feel that way? I went last night- 2 tasty slices and a pitcher for $12. Hard to argue with that.

Canestaro's, good pizza and subs, their own delivery.
Nicole's, good subs, Greek pizza, their own delivery.
Penguin, very good pizza, subs, via Foodler.
Walk to Woody's (no delivery options). Might be the best pizza nearby, wood-fired oven.

Bad news for you on Canestaro's, they closed a couple months back. I'll miss those calzones. Soon to be condos. Woody's is definitely my favorite spot in the neighborhood, and if they did delivery or a meatball sub, I might never leave my house. Will have to give Nicole's and Penguin a shot. Thanks!

Look for the closing time. The later a pizza place is open, the worse it is.

Pizza places in the Fenway cater to students who are too drunk to know what they are eating. So, for good pizza you have to go out of the area.

Try Dirty Water Dough Company on Newbury Street. I think they will deliver to Symphony and their pizza is really good. Their pizza dough is made with their own Dirty Water IPA beer. Good stuff.
