Aiyoub Alsallak, 29, was arraigned today on various charges for a Sept. 5 attack on a Red Line platform at Andrew station that left the 56-year-old victim with head injuries, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

Red Line Pizza says it's open until 2:30 a.m.

The Boston Licensing Board yesterday ordered Red Line Pizza, 582 Dorchester Ave. in South Boston, to start complying with its license and close its doors to walk-in customers at 11 p.m. Read more.

A judge last week tossed a legal life preserver to a man who crashed his boat into a 40-foot-high marker in Boston Harbor, that left one passenger drowned, saying he could continue to make his case under federal maritime law that it's not his fault he plowed into the large fixed structure early one summer morning last year. Life Is Good, the Melcher Street purveyor of optimistic T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats, today sued a company that claims to have a patent on the way clothing companies sell their wares online, saying the company needs to stop badgering it about patented techniques Life is Good says it isn't using on its Web site. Wanted for Andrew attack

Transit Police report they are looking for two men they say attacked a 56-year-old man at the Andrew Red Line stop around 9 p.m. on Monday, sending him to a local hospital for emergency care. Read more.

Live Boston reports Boston Fire and BWSC crews reported to A and West 3rd streets tonight after a water main went kablooie. BWSC has shut the water off, but expect road closures in the area.

The Boston Licensing Board today approved a plan by a dosa place on Boston Wharf Road to start selling crepe-like dosas as late as 2 a.m. every night. Read more.

State Police report two men were found dead at Carson Beach in South Boston today. The first, around 1:30 p.m., appears to have drowned. State Police say the second man, found near H Street around 3:30 p.m. did not appear to have drowned; his cause of death is under investigation.
