Good Lord! Shawn the roving UHub photographer wasn't roving very much around 6:40 a.m. when he took this photo of a blessed truck on everybody's favorite river road, the one with all the "CARS ONLY" signs at the entrance ramps:

When Storrow is bumper to bumper at 6:30 in the morning, you know there’s a truck.

Only a few hours after the Silber footbridge decapitated a truck, a slightly more alert truck driver narrowly managed to avoid a similar fate - and luckily for him, fellow commuters, such as Scrams, were in no mood to get out of their cars and tell him what they thought of having their rush hour extended.

Another day, another truck kept from its appointed rounds by a Storrow Drive bridge, as Katie Arsenault shows us. For some reason, that bridge looks familiar.

Jared Dobson can only utter a hearty "Tis the season!" as he waits to get by a moving van with a driver alert enough to stop before slamming into a Storrow footbridge shortly before 6:30 p.m., if not alert enough to pay attention to any of the "CARS ONLY" signs earlier on his journey. Read more.

DCR, MassDOT and State Police say that since 2007, there have been 25 recorded storrowings on Storrow and Memorial drives and Soldiers Field Road on weekends during which students flow into and out of the city. Read more.
