Eric Coney, managing editor at the Boston Business Journal, gets all Omega Man over the annual zombie lurch.

Outside Macy's in Downtown Crossing, my daughter asked about a woman who seemed to be soaked in blood. On Federal Street, I noticed, my son was looking with great concern at a similarly adorned man.

In South Station, where we'd gone to grab a snack, the whole scene became too much. We left not just the station, but the city.

At least until they get their pest problem under control:

Erin reports coming across this sign this morning on Wellesley Street in Weston, near the high-school athletic fields; adds: "I almost drove off the road laughing."

Oh, wait, you can't, because they're already dead! A Boston zombie march starts around 3 p.m. today in Copley Square.

Brian McFadden notes the two zombie marches planned for the Boston area this weekend and goes a bit ballistic:
